Traditional metal braces consist of stainless steel brackets attached to each tooth with a metal wire running through them. Elastic bands are used to hold the wire in place. These elastic bands are available in multiple colours which are changed at every appointment.

Similar to metal braces, but the brackets are made
of ceramic material that can be clear or tooth-colored,
blending in with the teeth. The brackets I use are called Clarity™ by German company 3M™
For patients that want something in the middle we offer the Iconix brackets, which are a more subtle metal brace. These brackets are designed and manufactured in America
The Forsus™ appliance is a type of orthodontic device used in combination with fixed braces to address certain types of bite problems. It falls under the category of fixed functional appliances, which means it is affixed to the teeth and remains in place for the duration of the treatment.
This is an alternative to the block brace, and is used to correct protrusion of the top teeth.
